HISTORY
Estilo Deportivo dates back to 1996 when Emilio R. Rey, Argentine journalist covered, for the first time, one the most important and famous car racing competition in the world, the Indianapolis 500.
Later, Telesur, a local TV Cable Channel joined Rey on his project. This collaboration gave a great boost to the initiative of bringing the coverage of the 500 Mile Race in the city of San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina.
As result of Rey's efforts, Estilo Deportivo began its expansion phase in covering the Indy Racing League in the United States.
In 2005 San Rafael Producciones (SRP) and Estilo Deportivo expands its coverage to nine races of the IRL Championship: Phoenix, St. Petersburg, Indianapolis, Texas, Kansas, Milwaukee, Michigan, Chicago and California.
Thus, for almost 30 years ESTILO DEPORTIVO has maintained its commitment to bring the open-wheel racing, in North America, to the fans.
HISTORIA
Estilo Deportivo se remonta a 1996, cuando el periodista argentino Emilio R. Rey cubrió, por primera vez, una de las competiciones de automovilismo más importantes y famosas del mundo: las 500 Millas de Indianápolis.
Posteriormente, Telesur, un canal de televisión por cable local, se unió a Rey en su proyecto. Esta colaboración impulsó la iniciativa de llevar la cobertura de las 500 Millas de Indianápolis a la ciudad de San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina.
Como resultado del esfuerzo de Rey, Estilo Deportivo comenzó su fase de expansión, cubriendo la Indy Racing League en Estados Unidos.
En 2005, San Rafael Producciones (SRP-Estilo Deportivo) ampliaron su cobertura a nueve carreras del Campeonato IRL: Phoenix, St. Petersburg, Indianápolis, Texas, Kansas, Milwaukee, Michigan, Chicago y California.
De esta manera, durante casi 30 años, Estilo Deportivo ha mantenido su compromiso de acercar las carreras de monoplazas de Norteamérica a los aficionados.
